Transferring Prenatal Care

We accept OB patients at any time during the pregnancy; we have had patients transfer care to our office as late as one week before they are due.

There are a lot of good reasons patients transfer. It is important to realize that this is about the health of you and your baby and that it is not the time to ignore the feeling that your current situation is not what you want out of politeness. You may be unhappy with your doctor’s desire to induce you for non-medical reasons, their unwillingness or inability to perform an External Cephalic Version, their lack of support for your birth plan or desire for natural delivery,  their sudden change in your delivery plan, their unwillingness to consider Vaginal Birth after Cesarean Section or their bedside manner.

If you are over 20 weeks pregnant with no prenatal care, I will review your situation on a case-by-case basis.

If you are interested in considering us for this monumental event, just give us a call we will be happy to answer any additional questions you may have and schedule an appointment. Congratulations on your pregnancy, we look forward to meeting you!
